EG’s Vocational Training Center
The Entity Green Vocational Training Center provides job training in a variety of vocational fields. EG offers both classroom instruction and hands-on experience to prepare students for work in in-demand fields such as construction, commercial painting, and electronics repair. The center is located 10 Km northwest of Amman in the town of Ein al Basha and is accessible by public transit. It is a large facility consisting of a computer lab, nine classrooms, five technical workshops, a fully-equipped commercial grade kitchen and cafeteria and an administration building.
Entity Green’s training program addresses two of Jordan’s most important issues: unemployment (especially in the young adult population) and the shortage of well trained professionals in key vocational fields. As Jordan continues to grow, so will its employment and training needs. The training center is well placed to help meet this need.

New Programs
Even as EG graduates fresh rounds of students from the center, we continue to have innovative ideas for uses of the facility. EG would like to expand its reach to further target the local population of Ein al Basha and the Palestinians located in the Baq’a Refugee Camp near the center. We also seek to directly link our training with employment opportunities. As part of this process, EG is looking for potential partners, especially those who hope to achieve positive social change through training and sustainable employment.
